One of the best lessons I have learned in life and business is this – Don’t take shit personally! One comment, lack of engagement, or even your own inner critic can totally make you lose confidence and momentum in your business. But, only if you let it. Just last week I had to remind myself of this when someone said something about me that wasn’t very nice. I was honestly pretty upset about it and my husband said he thought I was interpreting it wrong. He was right. I was making it mean something it didn’t and giving away too much energy to it. We do the same thing in business and it literally cost us. I am sharing the two questions I ask myself to change my mindset and move on.
