My Story -

Entrepreneurship is a journey

My Story

Entrepreneurship is a journey with a winding road.

I am an entrepreneur with a dream and a vision just like you! After 5 years as an Art Director and Lead User Interface Designer for a fortune 100 company, I took my side hustle, Tipsy Studio, full time.

I made this decision because I felt like I had gone as far as I could in my position and I was creatively uninspired. I was trading time that I wanted to spend with my family for a job that I no longer enjoyed. I was unhappy and I knew this wasn’t what I wanted my life to look like. I knew something had to change so I traded in my glass office, heels, and commute for t-shirts and the sounds of my children.

That decision allowed me the freedom to make choices that I never had before like leaning into our adventurous side by traveling full time in our RV.  I love to help other women create a sustainable business doing work that lights them up so that they can have this same kind of freedom to design their lives.

Getting where I am today took some time and it wasn’t easy.  I had to learn what it really meant to be an entrepreneur.

I often joke that if you want deep personal growth just start your own business. I have learned so much about the strategies needed to grow a business, but also who I have to be to create the business I want.

Quitting the stability of my job for the unknown was exciting and scary. I never could have imagined where that journey would take me.

What started as a design studio that I liked turned into a coaching business that I absolutely love. I understand that entrepreneurship isn’t a linear path. I know what it’s like to feel that nudge that something needs to change, but have no idea where to start. Most importantly, I can quickly spot the fears and beliefs that hold entrepreneurs back and keep them feeling stuck. Been there, felt that, and probably have a t-shirt about it!

Today, I help my clients pivot their business or package their experience and expertise into a sustainable business doing what they are meant to do.

Are you ready to know exactly what to do to grow your business?
